See me

I just needed to be heard. 

I just needed somebody to see me.

I just needed to be held and to be given what I never got. 

I just needed you, to heal me. 

To fill my wounds from the past. 

To see my shadows and bring them out to the light. 

I just needed you to love me. 

To love me for me. 

Just me and no other. 

I just needed to be seen. 

Seen the way that I was never seen, 

by those who was supposed to see me. 

I just needed you to see, 

see me for me.
